Valley Forge OBGYN - Limerick

I dont recommend this practice for maternity care. This practice ONLY delivers at Phoenixville hospital and my experience delivering there was really bad because of 1) my cervix wasnt checked right away. I told them I had fast labors and was ignored. No one checked on me for at least an hour and the baby was delivered within 10-15 mins of the OBGYN finally checking my cervix. They denied I was having regular contractions. How do you give birth within an hour and not have regular contractions? Keep in mind I was the only person in maternity triage.When I talked to patient advocate at the hospital, she said its normal for only one doctor to be on call in maternity. Thats a little scary and something people definitely should be aware of if delivering here. There should at least be a certified midwife on duty as well as an OB. What do they do if they need a provider, and the OB is in a c section? It was necessary in my case because I almost gave birth in the hallway and dumped the baby on its head. Also, your chance of getting an epidural will be lower here as they need a cervix check for that and the triage nurse wasnt competent enough to know for sure where I was. I could tell she was confused, and she said the doctor will need to check.Someone from Axia corporate reached out to me briefly and said they would call me back or come visit me at the hospital and of course this person never followed up. They just care about reviews looking good.

I have been a patient for 20 years. Every doctor I have seen has been caring and provided wonderful care. They delivered 3 babies for me. I am now past the baby stage and see Concetta for my annual exams and she is always kind and caring and provides excellent care.

Such a friendly place.. so warm and welcoming. I love Dr. Cadieux, she is so sweet and amazing! (:

I have been with this practice for over 30 years. I have been to the phoenixville and limerick offices. Never had a bad experience. Offices are clean and staff is friendly.

Concetta always makes me feel like we are old friends who haven’t seen each other in awhile. Her bedside manner is perfect and her attention to detail is reassuring.

Dr. Vanessa Canas is kind and caring. I never feel judged or rushed. So far I have never had any issues with getting an appointment.

Everyone was super welcoming and office run very well. The doctor was friendly and thorough while being quick and efficient. Plan of care was reviewed and follow up appointments made quickly and easily. Overall great care and very happy I ended up at this practice.

Dr. Denis noticed something was off after my C-Section 7 years ago. Without her attention to detail, Id be dead from septic shock. Forever grateful

Dr Sigal is my favorite and is very professional. I have seen her for more than 15 years in the Limerick office. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.

Being a new patient I was happy to find a well qualified OB/GYN in my Limerick community. Everything was quick & easy starting with the pleasant receptionist as she advised me to complete the forms to fill out via e-mail. My wait time was less than 5 mins when the nurse came out & took my weight & BP. She was very professional & pleasant. I saw Dr Christine Sigal who spoke with me for awhile & made me feel comfortable before she examined me. I was extremely pleased with her professionalism & how she took the time to explain my options. I highly recommend VF OB/GYN !

Dr. Christine Sigal has been my doctor since 2005, and has always given excellent care. Any concerns are addressed, without my feeling rushed. The staff is courteous and professional. The office is perfectly maintained and sparkling clean. Highly recommend.

As a new patient to this practice, I was very impressed from the very beginning. After making my appointment I was sent registration forms via email. Very easy process. Got to my appointment easy sig n in, did not wait long before being called back into the patient room. The nurse was very thorough and personable! Next Dr. came in, we had a nice conversation, and she proceeded with my examination. I didn’t feel uncomfortable at all, which was a relief! I highly recommend this practice!!

Vanessa Conos was my gynecologist and she was such a sweetheart. The annual checkup was quick and thorough to start. I became emotional when she asked me some questions and I just let out a bunch of stuff that I have been going through. She sat there and listened and showed concern for what I have been through. She offered to help any way she could and was willing to get me mental help if I needed it. She was very compassionate and I highly recommend her. I hope she gets to read this so she knows she made a very positive impact on me. Thank you Dr. Conos.

Doctor Denis was absolutely amazing. She took the time to address all of my concerns about the things/problems I am experiencing in the third trimester. She is a true advocate for women and aims to make sure people can remain functional and live the best life possible during pregnancy. I cannot thank her enough.

I absolutely love this place. I have been going for years and I see Concetta and I couldn’t be any happier. It’s just a personal/intimate appointment to have with someone and I literally dread it every year because it just makes me so nervous but Concetta makes me so comfortable and relaxed. I’d never go anywhere else. Highly recommend. Also easy to make an appointment and there’s very little wait time. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly from the front desk to the nurses!

Dr. Canas was awesome! I felt like she knew my concerns before I even said them.

Receptionist is super friendly and inviting. Eased all my anxiety going in to my appointment. The tech/nurse was very sweet and Dr. Cadieux was excellent! Office is very clean and wait time was minimal.

My daughter came here for her regular check up… she ended up leaving in tears due to the way Dr. Vanessa Canas made her feel. She expressed to me Dr. Vanessa Canas made her feel very uncomfortable , abnormal in her own skin and disrespected by the way she spoke to her. When she expressed a question about her personal medical health and Dr. Canas looked at her with disgust like it was an abnormal question to ask (about her period mind you). It was also expressed that Dr. Canas called her a name close to “stupid” due to not being on a certain medicine. This may just be our family’s case but I highly do not recommend this facility if this is how they treat new clients. Absolutely disgraceful.

I have been a patient at Valley Forge OBGYN for over 20 years and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Dr. Roitman is always so warm, compassionate and supportive. I completely trust her. Dr Shirker is also excellent and holds a special place in my heart for delivering my daughter 20 years ago. It is a well-run office and the nurses and office staff are all very friendly, professional and helpful. Valley Forge OBGYN has an amazing team and provides excellent care.

I have been coming to this practice for years and have even moved away but still return for my yearly check ups. The staff is caring and friendly. The office is clean and inviting. My doctor is Susan Roitman and I cannot say enough great things about her. She is caring, professional and has a great bed side manner. I would highly recommend this Limerick, PA practice.

I am currently pregnant with my second child. My first pregnancy was a total disaster partly because I had not found Valley Forge OBGYN. My home office is in Limerick but I have also visited the Phoenixville one. I have no complaints about any of my visits. Each time staff was friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. From the moment you walk in the vibes are great. I 100% recommend this practice to anyone looking for excellent prenatal care.

The best of the best. From the front desk to the intake nurse to Dr. Sigel I was treated with true compassion and care.Dr. Sigel took me in for an emergency appointment that upon her exam found my condition required an immediate surgery, performed by Dr. Shirker. Their quick attention and follow through saved my life.Thank you so very much. I’m forever grateful.

This was my first time going to the OB and I was so nervous. From the moment I walked in the door, I was so well taken care of! I received excellent care, got all my questions answered without being rushed, and was made to feel so comfortable the entire time! I’m so thankful for a provider that creates this type of positive environment—thank you Concetta!

I just saw them today as a new patient, and everyone from check in, to the clinical staff, and the Provider were wonderful! It’s close to my new home, and I’m thankful to have found great gynecology care! I would highly recommend them to family and friends.

Dr.Roitman is simply the best. She is knowledgeable and caring, thorough and insightful. She never rushes through my appointment and always makes sure my questions are answered. She is always sure to explain what she is doing and why, and makes sure I am comfortable with the plan. The staff at Limerick are so friendly and kind. It is a great visit all around. I appreciate the personal attention that is given to me every time i am seen in Limerick. From the front desk to the nurses and MAs to the physicians themselves, everyone is friendly and takes their time to listen to my concerns and answer my questions. Dr. Cadieux encourages dialogue and views me as a partner in my own care. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

I can honestly say that I have never had this high level of service anywhere else. They made me feel comfortable and cared for from the time I entered to the moment I left. Dr. Roitman and Trish went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of with all my next steps. I am truly grateful for such empathetic humans.

Dr Denis is just amazing! I didnt get the chance to have her deliver my 2 babies but request her specifically for anything that is needed. She is real,listens and actually remembers who you are. Making you more then just a number.

I have been a patient here for 42 years. The staff has turned over since then but the quality of care has remained consistently top notch.

It was very nice that they were ready for me and took me right back at my scheduled appointment time, it was so refreshing! Every person I had contact with from the receptionist to the doctor was very kind and courteous…. I have been a patient with them since 1982 and I would recommend them highly without reservation. In fact, my daughter has gone to them also for 10 years and she has had two healthy babies without any issues.

Ive been going to Dr. Sigal for many years now and she always asks how my children are and remembers them. She is kind and very efficient. Office personnel are very friendly.

Dr Sigal and her team are absolutely wonderful. No one ever enjoys going for an annual exam but she walks in the exam room and she makes you feel so relaxed like you are hanging out having coffee with one of your friends. She is very warm and friendly. Also the girls (nurse and receptionist) were also wonderful too! All very warm and friendly and like talking with your girlfriends. Best experience I’ve ever had.

I love this practice! Have been going there for almost 20 years. All the doctors and nurses are really nice and friendly. I see Dr. Cadieux and she is AMAZING! I never feel rushed and she is always explains things well and is very personable. Would recommend to anyone.

Front office personal was helpful and kind. The nurse who checked me into my room was also very kind and funny loved talking with her made me feel comfortable. NP I saw with a student doctor were very kind also did a good job explaining things. Definitely worth going and trying them out in Limerick.

Love love love this staff and drs. I showed up an hour early 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ And they just made me feel like it was no big deal and got me right in. Drs and nurses are the absolute best!! Clean and safe office environment and the entire staff went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and at ease. Going to the gynecologist isn’t always the most pleasant appointment but they made sure it was as pleasant as possible for me! If I have to go, and we all do, I would never go anywhere but here!

The limerick office is great. Staff was friendly and polite. Melissa, the nurse was fantastic. Made sure all of my questions and concerns were answered thoroughly. I felt completely comfortable at this office. Dr. Shirker is great, and I will continue being a patient at this office.

Easy to schedule. All office personnel are very friendly. Dr Fredic Cohen is wonderful. He takes his time very friendly and makes you feel at ease in a somewhat uncomfortable type of appointment for females. This was my second experience with this office and will continue in the future. Very happy with this office. Routine checkup.

This is my second year with Concetta and I’ve had two Pap smears and now had my IUD removed and for the first time ever I have had zero pain with any of my visits! I can’t say enough on how fantastic Concetta is and all the staff here at the Limerick office have been. Thank you so much for all that you do!

I have been seeing Dr. Cadieux since I was 14 and she is an absolute rock star. She always is fully focused on me and my health and life! I drive an hour to and from this location just to see her. She’s absolutely fantastic. And the staff there is so friendly and efficient. Dr. Cadieux makes me look forward to my annual appointment!

At almost 29 years of age, I figured it was time for my first-ever OBGYN appointment. I was nervous, but Concetta put me at ease quickly! She made sure to walk me through everything she was going to do before doing it, which helped my nerves tremendously. We talked about what I can do to start my family within the year, which is something I had mentioned I wanted. The whole staff followed proper safety procedures, which shows they truly care about the health of their patients, and not just themselves. Everyone was very sweet and kind, I’m glad I chose this office to go to!

If I could I would give them 10 stars. Such the sweetest people! Makes you feel so welcomed. Front desk was the nicest, the nurse Melissa, and Dr. Sigel are just wonderful! Leaving there left me and my mom in the best mood ever.

My last visit here was in 2021 but I hesitated at that time to leave a review. Ill start with my experience with the office. The office is clean and welcoming. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. (Hence the 2 stars).I saw Concetta Poidomani, CRNP for my annual/pap and to bring up some concerns I was having about my reproductive health. A student performed my pelvic exam & pap, which was fine - I was asked if it was okay first and I said it was. Afterwards I had the opportunity to speak with Concetta about my concerns. I expressed that I had been experiencing some concerning, consistent symptoms much different than I had ever experienced with my cycle in my 20+ years of having a period. Essentially, I was dismissed and told that other women have it worse. I was too old to have PCOS (I would have known by now if I had PCOS - keep in mind I chose not to have children so I never struggled with infertility due to never trying) and too young to be in perimenopause. I continued to express concern that the symptoms were not what I was used to and she brushed them off and tried to prescribe birth control to mask the symptoms I was experiencing in lieu of ordering any diagnostic testing (despite me expressing the sentiment that I did not want to be on hormonal birth control). I left the office feeling ashamed, dismissed and stupid for even bringing up my concerns. A couple of years later and I am still experiencing symptoms (I did not start the birth control that was prescribed to me after I was persuaded into it). I plan to pursue these symptoms again, this time with a different office and doctor in a different health network in hopes that my voice will be heard.

Historically the receptionists have been kind of rude but I kept going because I love Dr Shirker. Today the receptionist was wonderful. Sometimes have to schedule appts pretty far in advance.

Dr. Cohen was wonderful. So kind and nice. I was scared about my appointment but the doctor put my mind at ease. Very nice office.

Love Dr Shirker and the Staff at Valley Forge OB/GYN-Limerick! They are courteous, efficient and I always feel that they truly care about their patients. If you are looking for an OB/GYN I would highly recommend this practice.

I came in to see Dr. Cohen for the first time. The nurse were very understanding on my concerns very helpful. I hadnt had a papsmear in over 5 years. He made me feel comfortable there was little to no pain involved. I feel like i am in great hands and confident that my issues are going to be taken care of.

My first visit today and couldn’t have been happier. The whole staff was very nice and made me feel very comfortable.

I have been with this practice for over 35 years. Dr Roitman is a very thorough doctor. Great bed side manner. Without this group I would have never had four children. Staff is also wonderful.

My nurse melissa was and always is AMAZING. Couldnt ask for any better nurse. Super understanding and caring! Dr roitman is like a therapist on top of my OB doctor. I have been going to Valley Forge Obgyn for years. I have only went to the Collegeville office for the most part. I have see. Dr. Denis which is amazing. When I got pregnant I had to go to Phoenixville for most appointments. I seen many different Drs and all were great. Dr Canas is the best she delivered my son and I love seeing her for my appointments. The limerick office is nice as well. Staff at all offices are great.

Start to finish, this was one of the best medical experiences I have had. From being greeted by name and with a smile the moment I walked in to the quiet, clean environment, I felt immediately at ease. Dr. Roitman is one of a dying breed of doctors: kind, engaging, attentive, and thorough. My only regret is that it took me so long to find her.

Dr. Sigal is a most kind and compassionate doctor who has always treated me well and answers any questions or concerns honestly and in terms I can understand. The entire staff is also very warm and makes me feel comfortable.

Dr. Shirker was amazing and caring as I caught the giggles through my fetal ultrasound check up. Her patience should be commended.

I have been a patient here since 1990, after relocating from Colorado. For the last several years, I have seen Dr Roitman. She is friendly, funny, and always professional. Its like visiting an old friend every time. I feel lucky to have landed in this practice.

I use Dr. Sigil. She is great 😊 had some problems and she had helped me a lot. From the front desk to the nurse and dr. they are all very nice. When I moved here 8 years ago my neighbors recommended this place I also like that they have three office not far from me.

This place is the worst! I made an appointment and was assured my insurance was accept. Received a call the following day while on my way that its not accepted.Also, Dr Sigal is unbelievable rude and unprofessional. For the few times Ive met with her, she couldnt even look me in the face and never once examined but was ok was prescribing birth control for my ovarian cysts.

Been seeing this practice for about 18 years. Everyone is unfailingly polite and friendly. Knowledgeable, pragmatic, current on Best Practices. Staff seems more rushed in recent years, but still take the time to listen and answer questions thoroughly.

I have used this group since I moved to PA in 1979. The doctors are compassionate and listen carefully. My recent visit confirmed the dedication they have to make things work for you and have the best outcome.

I went to valley forge for years. Had some good nurse pracs (Jackie is great) and asking me 2 years ago.. I would have given 5 stars. But now, no. I saw the limerick office a few months ago by recommendation by my gi for issues Id be having. They saw me, suggesting an ultrasound, and pressured me into sti/std testing and a yearly. The doctor (younger with dark hair) was very condescending and cut me off often. After the apt I left rather upset. Not long later I received word from my pharmacy that my bc (prescribed for cysts) was stopped because I didnt get my regular check done. I explained that the doctor had done it there, and they told me I was wrong. I called another gyn in the area and got see immediately. Upon arrival they were very concerned with my gi issues, and told me the bc I was prescribed could cause intestinal spasm! They switch my bc, my appetite returned, and between them and my gi, Ive finally got my life back. If not for nurse Jackie, Id give 0-1 stars.
