Green Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine

Green Acupuncture has been a true game changer in my rehabilitation!!! I suffer from severe painful peripheral Neuropathy . It’s been a tough year for me. Dr. Monica Vargus has been so understanding of my diagnosis. I made a commitment to get treatment twice weekly and it’s been a little over 3 months! What a difference in the way I feel! Sleep and anxiety has improved a ton! All positive. I’m so grateful to have Green Acupuncture as part of my lifestyle program! Also, the environment has such good energy! My health experience received from Dr David Green exceeded my expectations. My lifelong love of sports finally caught up with me. I was experiencing a degree of arthritis, minor joint pain, and swelling in my knees, lower back, and neck that limited my general activities and current exercise. Dr David Green treated me using acupuncture over a period of 6 months bi-weekly; and advised me on life style changes that augmented his treatments include stretching with exercise, diet, focusing on capability goals, and performing daily activities tailored to my daily routine and health choices. His acupuncture treatments are sophisticated and not painful. I felt immediate improvement. His treatments significantly reduced my pain, swelling, and enabled me to regain my range of motion on a daily basis. Green Acupuncture is a well-staffed and operated health services office. The treatment rooms are clean, pleasant, relaxing, and private. Dr Green is an excellent listener and possess superior diagnostic and treatment skills. I highly recommend him.

Dr. David Green and the office staff are very professional and knowledgeable. David listens to you, making you feel relaxed and heard. I was suffering from neck pains and spasms for several months - I had physical therapy and I saw a chiropractor, but I was always still in pain. After 2 treatments at Green Acupuncture, I started to find relief! I truly believe David is interested in providing excellent care.

Ive been to other accupupunctist in the past. I heard about Green acupuncture and decided to hear what they had to offer me. The receptionist was very sweet and professional. I spoke with one of the acupuncturist, Monica, who took me in her office and instead of jumping into treatment, she asked me in her soft, and gentle voice, many questions about my history and my concerns.I have to be honest, my first few visits I didnt experience much results, but without going into details, my problems didnt happen overnight. If anyone is looking for a quick fix, this may not be for you. My last 2 sessions I finally saw improvements. Im not where I want to be, but Im better than I was. Monica shows a genuine concern for my needs and is very compassionate. I felt very comfortable with her. I very highly recommend Monica. I cant say enough about her. Its not bragging if its true! Kudos Monica!!!

I have been a patient of Green Acupuncture since March, 2009. I have fibromyalgia and between my rheumatologist, my massage therapy and Dr. David Green’s wonderful acupuncture treatments, I have been able to lead an active and fulfilling life. I was able to continue to work full-time and travel extensively. He has definitely made a believer out me when it comes to acupuncture. Both David and his father, Dr. Jim who joined the practice in 2013, are very warm and caring people. Both father and son take the time to listen to the patient and to explain the procedures. In 2013 after I retired, I was asked to join the staff part-time. I accepted and I am so glad I did, because I get to work with these wonderful doctors and see all the good they do.

GO ELSEWHERE! The second way too aggressive treatment I had with Dr Green (the son) left me in so much pain I was bedridden for 4 days and my neck was in spasm for weeks. The following treatments seemed to be kind of helpful but Dr Greens bed side manner slipped from good to arrogant & very condescending within a month of treatments. After a few painful treatments I had an aggravated herniated disc (why I sought treatment) yet Dr Green was dismissive and all knowing saying it was a pulled muscle, despite my own knowledge of what was going on in my own body & confirmation from my surgeon. There are way too many great acupuncturists to settle for someone who is as patronizing as he is.

I had the pleasure of receiving treatment from both Greens. Prior to seeing them I had visited over 10 doctors who werent able to provide even a slight relief to my pain. Both were willing to work with me, extensively, as this issue had been a somewhat of an anomaly. I cant recommend them enough, Ive never actually written a review in my entire life but I felt compelled to do so now. The level of care they exhibited as well as patience in helping me out Im tremendously grateful towards both of them.

I highly recommend Dr. David Green and Green Acupuncture for healing of physical pain as well as stress reduction and relaxation with a variety of Chinese medicine practices. Dr. Green is truly a top professional and his bedside manner is confident, considerate, and connecting with what is ailing you. Dr. David Green and Dr. Jim Green are at the top of their field in their knowledge of Chinese medicine and present this with a calm and kind demeanor that is part of the healing process. In addition, the staff of Green Acupuncture of Janice and Carol are welcoming and considerate of every patients needs. I truly recommend Green Acupuncture as an adjunct or even a strong alternative to the western medicine model for your healing needs.

I have never been to a doctor like this in my life I thought I needed surgery from the pain in my hip but two weeks with Dr. Green he figured out what the problem was .He will sit with you for as long as you need and talk to you about what bothers you and then he takes action ,wonderful caring individual. Outstanding acupuncturist. Just try it before you say it doesn’t work, it works.

Ive been going there for the past 2 1/2 years. No complaints. The entire staff is great. Janice and Carol are very pleasant and the danamic duo the ( Greens) are very skilled and what I like the most is that they listen to you.
